Business Cards

Posted on September 23rd, 2009 in Brand, Graphic Design

I’ve been playing around with designing some business cards for a while but as it was a personal project that represents myself it took much longer than usual to create something that I actually enjoyed and was proud to give to people.

Degree Show Logos

Posted on May 13th, 2009 in Graphic Design, Logo

Two logos submitted for 2008’s Graphic Design Degree Show at Gray’s School of Art. It was a pretty open brief and I played around with a lot of different ideas before settling on the final two.

Graphic Design Gray's School of Art Degree Show 2008 Logo

I fell rather obviously on the idea of the school nurturing and growing the students and so the visual idea of a tree was a pretty quick decision. (more…)

Download: [dirty] [clean] [instrumental] [zip]

QN5 Music is proud to announce the release of “Bionic”, the lead single fromMr. SOS’ forthcoming debut album How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb. Produced by Tonedeff, with a progressive use of synths and sampled industrial machinery to illustrate society’s increasing reliance on technology which is seemingly leading down a road to the loss of our humanity.

The single cover was designed by UK artist, Allan Corbett of thetwoofhearts.com and features a clever blend of the double-helix DNA with microchip circuitry.

Dilla Changed Your Tshirt

Posted on April 18th, 2009 in Art, Graphic Design, peace, love&hiphop

Heavily inspired by this video of  PackFM who f*cking hates rappers and I’ve got the use of a vinyl cutter so precise stencil making was very much in order. Last year I made a kinetic type video for a verse by PackFM, check it out.

Lighting Vinyls

Posted on February 27th, 2009 in Art, Photography

A series of images for future use for a book cover on the idea of lighting used in photography and how it can affect the viewers perception of the image. Inspired by this older post and bearing strong resemblance to the OS X default wallpaper. They kind of look like a distant nebula which was unexpected but cool.

Completey thought of and put together by me. But that’s pretty much all I did. Ripped from Vinyl and DVD.

A mash up of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon and the first episode of the BBC’s Planet Earth.
The audio and video are completely unedited.
